Dolphins looking to trade down

Anybody else think the Dolphins will go after Vince Young?

Dropping into coverage is just about the last thing I'm concerned about in an OLBs skillset.

The point BB does. He hates stiffs that cannot even drop into shallow routes or crossing patterns.

In the big completion to the cotchery in the jets game when we scored and came close 11-14 , the jets rotated and moved till they got Tully to walkout with Cotchery. Tully being what he is rushed and let cotchery free with not even a attempt to coverage and rushed.

so you are fine if this guys gets in similar plays AKA woodley /steelers we exploit constantly in our offense and double harrison. woodley in coverage is what costs the steelers the game , to help him they bring pollamulu or clark down and then we just rotate this on harrison side.We exploit steelers OLB when we play.

I wish they could somehow draft Ted Ginn Jr again. God the fan reaction to that was hilarious.

Gronkowski was a trade-up pick in the second, as was either Brace/Butler.

As far as a first round trade-up, Warren was a minor move, and Graham was a decent size jump (32 to 21). Mayo was a move down.

When's the last time BB traded up? Was it for Jerod Mayo? I can see Bill trading up if there's someone he really wants but I see him trading down to aquire more future picks.

That's the thing, BB trades up fairly often. It's just not as sexy because he doesn't make the big jumps in the first round (where the jump in salary has been dramatic) that get the national news.

It's very hard to say what has value in the draft until the new CBA is hammered out. 2nd rounders have been a great value with the kind of money and cap space unproven #1s command in the present setup. If a rookie cap is put in a la the NBA, then #1s are a great value or at least less of a risk long-term. How many awful #1s can we all name that strapped teams for years? If there's no rookie cap, I see BB trading out of the first round altogether unless he spots a sure-bet OL or DL.

The Dolphins? Screw them. Let 'em pick their number one and squirm while Trader Bill clears the board of all the good players! Gotta love this off-season.
