Dolphin disaster? Williams breaks arm in CFL game

A broken arm won't be a problem for next year. Now, if he had torn an ACL . . .

This is more of a disaster for the CFL than it is for the Dolphins. Williams only played in four games and never really dominated in any of them. Back to obscurity the CFL goes, for Americans at least.

I could care less about Ricky Williams, but, as for Canadian Football, speak for yourself. Many US football fans follow the CFL with interest. It's wide open, a lot more like NFL Football, IMO, than "Arena Football" and plenty of the players are just a step slow or a little small for the NFL or had some "behavior" problems which kept them out of the big show, but they are still very talented. Just ask the Flute.

PS: While I'll admit that you're right as far as the customary usage of the term "Americans," nonetheless, Canada is part of North America, so Canadians, technically, are "Americans," without being citizens of the United States of America.

I can't stand the Arena League. I'd much prefer to watch the CFL over that garbage, but the thing is I can't watch the CFL. They don't even have it on satellite TV down here. At least you can watch the crap Arena League on two different channels.

I'm sure they have some good players up there, and it can be fun to watch, however with Williams gone the only US coverage of the CFL will be Chris Berman's random shoutouts for the Roughriders.

You know what I meant.

I thought Ricky was suspended for the season for failing the drug test. That is why he is playing in the CFL. Ricky could have very well have blown out his knee and it wouldn't have meant a thing for the 2006 Dolfins. In fact Ricky could retire tomorrow and it wouldn't affect the dolfins future in any shape. Ricky is has become irrelevant in the NFL.

I don't know about that. Having to punt on third down makes the CFL boring, not wide open.

First down is pass 98% of the time. Second down is always pass.
Just like AFL but without the excitement.

I'll take NFLE, then AFL.

Or even a return of XFL.

But three downs? Dumb.
