Does BB owe it to the Fans to be straight forward about Brady?

I'm sort of torn about this. Part of me has always loved BB's indignation when it comes to the injury report, but another part of me always felt that if Brady ever went down, BB would owe it to the fans to be honest about what's going on. I don't know if I can deal with a season in which Brady is 50/50 every week and never ends up playing. I know BB has given us more than fans should ever expect, but does he "owe" it to us to be upfront about this injury? I don't think I can stomach not being sure all season....

BB owes it to the fans to do whatever is best for the football team, and do whatever it takes to give them the best chance to win. If that means disguising the nature/extent of the injury, or force teams to gameplan around Brady even if he isn't going to play, then that's what he should do.

I also think it has been proven over and over that injury info given out is usually unreliable anyways. Tom Coughlin announced Osi was fine. He was told he was. Then he had an MRI and he was out for the year.

It may be torture for us to not be up to date with the Franchise's injury, but I think our suffering during the week is negated by the advantage we have now with the opposing teams not knowing anything either. So basically as long as we are winning, I am fine with BB's silence.

How much differently does a Defensive game plan if it is Cassel vs. Tom?
They have similar tool sets (pocket passers with accurate throwing ability in both short and long situations).
Perhaps you blitz Cassel more...but I think every teams prepares vs. the Pats offense to:
1. Stop Moss
2. Stop the Run
3. Pressure the QB

The only obvious difference is the weekly Vegas spread (in the teens with Tom and close games with Cassel).

The LAST thing I want is for BB to turn into one of those coaches who spends more time talking into a mic kissing up to the fans and the media than anything else.

The only thing I want from BB right now is to rally his troops and get ready for Game 2. I don't want to see him standing in front of a podium wailing about Brady. BB's only job is to work around Brady's injury, study film or whatever it is he does, and figure a way to put a BEAT DOWN on the Jets.

BB owes us one thing-and that is to his best to field a winning team. I think he's more than paid us.

All Bill owes us is to deal with this injury the way he has always dealt with every other one - namely, as little info as possible. I agree, it's frustrating, but that the way it is and I'm OK with that. Anyway, some word will be out tomorrow, correct or not.
