Do you think Brady can break 5000?

My bad, ESPN.com screwed up their projection. They had him projected as having played 10 games this season, not 8. Cool. Alright, that makes it a bunch more likely, but it will still be incredibly difficult to average over 10 catches a game for this 6 game stretch. I still say it's unlikely.

Its Still unbelievable the pace he is going since he missed 2 games. Like I said in another thread, Wes is incredibly underrated. When you see his numbers when his career ends, everyone will be suprised.

Do you think Brady could win MVP if he throws 35 tds with like 4500+ yards and 12-4 or 13-3. NOBODY has mentioned Brady it has just been Favre and Manning..

I doubt it unless the Pats run the table and the Colts lose a few games (and not after they have clinched HFA throughout the playoffs). Manning is the reason the Colts are winning games they should be losing right now. That is going to let him walk away with the award.

Besides, I would rather see Brady win the Lombardi trophy than the MVP award.

I don't see it happening either. As to the MVP talk:
Last year Manning wasn't deserving of it, especially considering his rough start, but everyone was swingin by the end of the year.

This year, coming off a more serious injury, Brady has put up awesome #s, and he's not even being mentioned in the MVP talk.

Imho, Favre, Brees & TfB are equally as deserving as Horseface, but barring a late season collapse by the Dolts, Manning will get a 4th.

I agree Manning didn't deserve it last year. It was a bad year for MVP candidates and he won it by default. Brees would have won it last year if he could have gotten his team into the playoffs. This year though (at least at this point) he deserves it.

The reason why Brady isn't mentioned (although many people in the media have mentioned his name) is because unlike last year, there are a lot of good candidates for MVP right now. Besides, I don't think Manning was really in the discussion for MVP for the first half of last year and a really strong performance by him (albeit against weak competition) drove him up the ranks. Brady will a strong finish could be in contention for the title by the end of December/early Januaray.

Manning has a lot of ints so far. Brady coming off a major knee injury is much more impressive to me....mvp Brady(that being said the mvp is merely a hype award which is why despite his numbers and his injury brady hasnt been mentioned much)

Maybe if he played in a dome but bad weather is likely to slow him way down too.

This is why MVP is bull. If Brady leads the stats, he should win. Why didn't Brady win MVP in 03 or 04 when he lead his team to 14-2?

So Peyton Can win mvp for winning/stats, but Brady can't win for winning/stats?

i'd rather have Brady win Superbowl MVP than the league MVP, Manning can accumulate all the regular season MVP's he wants.

I agree, Brady's mentality is winning games, as usual. But im sure he wants more rings than MVP trophys.

It's possible. I wouldn't mind seeing him do it.

All I care about is 4th ring!
