The QB guantlet is over. We held the Broncos, Colts, Lions, Packers, and Chargers to 18 ppg. Also, we held all 5 QBs to below average days:

Manning season QBR: 105.7
Manning vs. pats QBR: 80.9

Luck season QBR: 98.8
Luck vs. pats QBR: 90.0

Stafford season QBR: 87.8
Stafford vs. pats QBR: 49.5

Rodgers season QBR: 118.6
Rodgers vs. pats QBR: 112.6

Rivers season QBR: 100.6
Rivers vs. pats QBR: 73.9

====================================================

So, will the D continue this pattern vs. Tannehill, Geeeno, and Orton, or will one of them have another career day vs. us?

Geeeno season QBR: 68.0
Geeno vs. pats QBR: 88.6

While I think we should win the next three games in sound fashion, I hope the D doesn't have a let down vs. inferior QBs. The defensive gameplan vs. the Jets was beyond weird.

Yes.

The Jets game was an anomaly - first game after losing Mayo, and playing mostly in base. No Siliga, no Branch.

I sure hope so. I'd like the Patriots D to head into the playoffs with unbridled swag and confidence that they are good enough to shutdown teams if the O is having a poor night.

I don't expect anything but, especially if we get Hightower and Chandler back, we are capable of defending any team in the league. The part that surprises me is the D line rotation. we can give Vince a little rest and should (I've noticed him sucking wind late inat least one game). But with health, we have three jumbos and two penetrators (hope Easley can play up to his potential health wise) with Chris Jones.

That's outstanding with the core being an injured hope for the future and an older legend, but a monster in branch and two lunch pail guys from last year. No filler, they can all play. Linebackers and ends will be great and haven'r skipped a beart iwthout Mayo.

the secondary is outstanding. Everybody can't stay sharp playing little and dumping on these guys whe aaron rodgers is QB isn't fair.

Short week, Wilfork played ~150 snaps in four days.

Barring serious offensive or special teams gaffes, neither Miami nor New York will come close to matching their earlier score. I won't be surprised if each is cut in half.
