Anyone could have had Kelce--anyone who watched him play in college knew he dominated like this, and he was the best TE since Gronk. It was obvious. I have no idea how the scouts missed that.

Everytime someone calls him a TE makes me chuckle. He is a big WR that lines up in the slot and through that prism nothing special at all. Somewhere in the top 40 receivers.

The issue is the colts only run 2 defenses. It isn't like they can adjust if they don't work. They need someone to jam kelce every play honestly.

I too think of him as a big wr but 103 snags for 1300 10 tds has him well inside the top 40. Right around top 10 numbers wise

I am sure we can come up with at least 20 WR that we rather have than Kelce. If he was blocking it would be a totally different story. But he is the product of amazing design by Reid and Mahomes being able to execute on that.
