DILFER DEFENDS THE PATS

Dilfer: "And what about you Ray! You have no room to talk. What about before the SB when....

Uhhhhh.... nevermind, I got a wife and kids. You're right Ray, now please don't murder me."

What I inferred from that was an admission that talk of the integrity of the game is not something former players should talk about as they all know what they do. If that had continue I will not have been shocked to see him say something that might have brought attention to the Ravens during his time.

Someone ask Steve Young how Carmen Policy was able to keep the 49ers competitive under the NFL salary cap of the early 90s. Such BS.

Lol dilfer. Trying to make up for the crap he spewed after the KC game.

I respect people who stick their necks out with opinions on insufficient information, as long as their arguments are honest. "Man in the arena" and all that, when the arena is prognostication. That they get it badly wrong at times comes with the territory.

The silence of Dikta and Boomer actually pissed me off more than those who were talking. Then foolish Keyshawn brought up Hernandez as an issue that taints BB and Brady. He sump up spygate, Hernandez and Deflategate. WTF? In life such moments are important for you to know how to behave when the shoe is on the other foot.
What did meshawn accomplish again? Didn`t he write some book? Did he even sell 100 copies?

Dilfer's broadcasting career ends like his football career. A series of forgetting and underwhelming moments punctuated with one outstanding achievement.
lol, guess thats the last time anyone seems him on ESPN, not that I would see him, cause I flat out do not watch ESPN.

Dilfer just had another heated discussion with Carter on ESPN.

Carter was being very arrogant and laughing but Dilfer's stance was tonight stamped the fact that it doesn't matter what pressure is in the ball, they are great. No fumbles, no drops, he broke the completions record.

Carter was very arrogant.

Dilfer is the man.

I just saw it replayed, literally 5 seconds ago. Dilfer owned Cris Carter; and totally called him out for conveniently forgetting about how teams put players on IR to save cap room, or have practices in times where the NFL won't allow, etc. Carter just has no counter point.
