Did no QB communication cause no hurry up?

Did the fact that Brady had to use hand signals slow down the Pats offense in the first half? As a result were they not able to pick up the pace? You would have figured we would have seen hurry up at least.

I realize they probably didn't want to go hurry up to give the past defense a rest.
