Did Manning overrule Dungy?

I've seen it listed a couple of times on here, but was it definite that Manning was overruling the coach and sending the punt team off the field? Has this ever been done before? That is amazing and arrogant of Manning if it is true, I couldn't tell what Dungy was doing.

I am not sure if that happened or did not happen, but if it did, and Dungy lets this kid "run the team", he is going to lose control of this team quickly.

It's happened before, and each time Dungy folds, calls them back, then tells Manning, "It's all on you..."

Today should take Dungy out of the running for Coach of the Year....he isn't even the top coach on his own team.

Dungy said the punt team got a little overanxious, but didn't he looked surprised when he saw Peyton waving them off. Why didn't he yell at the punt team for them to come back?

Exactly. Dungy can deny it all day long - unfortunately I think denial is one of his character flaws. We all saw it, and it wasn't the first time. Great guy, lousy HC. He's real just a glorified DC anyway - and the OC is just a glorified QB's coach. Not sure what that makes Polian ....but let me think about it.

Dungy is Pete Carroll when he was with the Pats, but with better players.
