Hightower and Brown are playing really poorly. But make no mistake, 3 of our starters were out. This was simply too much to make up for, especially when the defense had to spend so much time on the field do to the poor performance by the offense.

I was never convinced after the draft that the defense improved over the one that played in the super bowl. I was surprised and disappointed that with the first that with the first two picks bb went rb and o-line. I thought for sure the pats would take a ILB or two, or a combination of ilb dl, or lb cb. Although most of the top ilb's were in the 235lb range, light for a ilb in a bb defense.
