Deion Branch Quoted on St Louis-Seattle Game

I heard the quote and it was pathetic. Of course, who knows how accurate the quote was, but apparently he was talking about the offense (not the whole team) and said that it was Brady, Dillon, himself, and bunch of other guys who "try hard". I don't care what the circumstances are, you don't disrespect Troy Brown, Kevin Faulk, David Givens, the entire OL, the TE's, etcetera like that... you just don't. There's nothing to gain.

Hope we don't have a whole week of this.

Can we get the exact quote? Because if that's what he said that comment was totally classLESS. DB may have been a classy guy in the past but his actions and words this season have gone totally against that image. Anyways I have little interest in him now that he left the Pats. He and his agent are the ones that decided to cut ties.

After 5 games each, "Points For" for the Pat's and the Seahawks is identical at 108.

I like that quote. I hope he keeps talking. In fact, he should repeat it on national TV a bunch times more. Brady, Dillon and a bunch of nobodies.

Troy Brown, nobody.
Kevin Faulk, nobody.
Ben Watson, nobody.
Daniel Graham, nobody.
Offensive line, nobodies.

Good going Deion.

This is just what the Patriots need.

How do you feel about your boy now Tom?

The problem is that is was the commentators saying Deion Branch said.............so, there is no way to get the exact quote that Deion said.

Maybe this whole thing gets played out on the field in Miami - in February. I would imagine those comments just might resurface in the weeks leading up to the game.

Wow - wouldn't that be an amazing game with many story lines Patriots VS Seahawks, no love lost between the two teams. Belichick's disdain for Holmgren. Deion freaking Branch, Seahawks trying to steal Pioli and more.

True, but I'd still prefer the storylines if the Pats play the Cowboys.

The commentators quoted him as saying "The Patriots had Tom Brady, Corey Dillon and a bunch of try hard guys". Whether they got the quote right, who knows.

Said Seattle is much more explosive than N.E. All N.E. has: Tom Brady and Corey Dillon. Seattle has Hasselbeck, Jackson, Shaun Alexander, him, etc., etc. So how come they're having so much trouble with the Rams? Classless little turd, badmouthing his old team after leaving.

1) I agree that Branch is classless. But we'[ve known that since the start of training camp.

2) How would Branch know what the Patriots have since he never came to work with this crew?

3) The Patriots have more than Dillon and Brady. They also have Watson, Graham, Caldwell, Gabriel, and Troy Brown.

4) The Patriots also have a great team defense. The Seahawks have a couple of very good players, but they really aren't a team.

5) Branch is right about one thing. The talent the Seahawks have in the WR is better than what the Patriots have currently or had anytime during Branch's stay with the Pats. Burleson, Jackson, Branch, Hackett, and Engram. That is an amazing group of WR. Too bad that Jackson is probably gone after this season and Hackett could be as well.

So instead, you'd expect him to say, "My old team was so much better. These Seattle offensive players suck."

I know you miss Deion, but he's handled this with as much class as any player in the league. Don't dump on him just because you're bitter.

I will dump on him because he's a classless piece of garbage and your wrong to say that Deion handled the situation with as much class as any player in the league. Richard Seymour handled his contract disagreement much better than Branch did.

Also, Branch could have said, "The Patriots are a great team, but I am with the Seahawks now and we have a lot of good players too."

But he's right?

The Patriots aren't an explosive team and they don't have the same type of players at the skill position that Seattle has.

But what's the problem with that? I'll take methodical and reliable over explosive any day of the week. I think you guys are reading too much into this.

I don't have any problem with what he said. He's right.

Of course, when you look closer at it, it really doesn't matter.

Cincy was more explosive than we were last year and this year and we beat them both times.

How about Indy? They were more explosive than we were with Pey-a-ton, Harrison, Edge, Wayne etc. Yet we beat them each and every time it mattered most.

As a fan I'm comfortable in saying this team isn't as explosive as a lot of teams on offense. But often, that's not what wins games. I think we've all seen that in the BB era.

That's how I feel. Bring it on Deion , it only helps us. The more doubt coming from the outside, the stronger this team becomes in the locker room.

Really kind of sick of Deion Branch, wish he was here but he is not, so I think i had enough of the Deion Branch thing...

Deion isn't all that great... so I'm happy that he has a team that is very similar in stature...

He ISN'T that good.

It was Baldinger nattering during the broadcast.

Well, this explains EVERYTHING.

Ball-dinger is a ball-washer for most every team; except the Pats. He clearly dislikes them.

Baldinger = s h i t for brains...

The problem I have with Deion's comments are simply that he's still taking out his vitriol with the Patriots FO on his former team mates. He didn't need to throw his former teammates under the bus in order to say that the Seahawks offense was explosive.

He could have just as easily said 'We're so explosive, I'm happy to be here.' and left his former teammates out of it.

I don't feel bothered by what Deion said about the Pats. Whether his comment is correct or not, he is no longer on the team. He is a Seahawk and his loyalties are with them. He had a good game yesterday. Of all the players lost this offseason, his is the departure which hurts me the most.

Sure hope Givens and Adam get some playing time. We could use the supplemental picks.
