Not completely surprised by this move - I think 6 DL makes more sense than 7, with that extra roster spot going to somebody who can run the length of the field on special teams.

However I am somewhat surprised by the timing, I figured this decision would not be made until the last possible moment. Perhaps it is a sign that the Pats are signing somebody else?

I could see Love making the team. I could also see BB cutting players at certain positions to add others who have been cut. Would not be surprised by a trade either.

Agreed. This probably gets Love onto the roster.
