Cute link, but you hit the nail on the head here. Right now, the obvious solution to all of these scenarios -- even the run formation scenarios - is to get out of base defense. Can't believe they didn't illustrate it. Defenses need to make the O-Line prove it can do anything worth a damn in run blocking - and it would really be a horrid line if they can't pull it off against a dime front. If and only if the Patriots can do that, then will this offense become lethal.

This is all on paper at this stage of course - and I always keep my fingers crossed about the best laid plans being cast aside by injury

but yeah, you'll get 100% agreement around here about how important the OL is - and I think unstoppable with the combo of Gronk and Bennett, Edelman and whoever the other main WR is (let's assume Amendola for now)

Add Dion Lewis to that mix and you'll have mass confusion among any D we play - but again, only IF the OL does what they need to do

If the OL falters you know BB and Dante will likely have to go to a 2 TE set with more of a blocking specialist

Being able to actually USE our two TE positions the way we did in the Gronk/Hernandez period would be HUGE - so the OL really needs to do their job without help from a TE
