The league reviewed Bobby Wade’s block on Rodney and declared it legal. The block itself was without a doubt legal since he hit him from the front and not the blind side. The only question was whether or not it was within 5 yards of the line of scrimmage, which would have made it a crack back block and thus been a penalty. The league deemed it was not and replays seemed to back up that ruling.
"Crackback: Eligible receivers who take or move to a position more than two yards outside the tackle may not block an opponent below the waist if they then move back inside to block."

Wade was definitely more than 2 yards outside the Tackle. He came back inside and cut Rodney's knee. I don't know where the "5 yards" bullsh*t came from, other than typical media error.
