...I'm losing more faith in Wolf every week. Because I'm just not sure who has been most vocal in determining the type of team, players, style, etc that they need for players. If it's been Mayo (normal for HC), then Wolf may have tried to fill Mayo's cupboard accordingly.
It all points to Mayo IMO. I'd give Wolf a 2nd year lightyears before I'd give Mayo one.

But Ron Wolf’s boy has already had a 2nd year… and a 3rd…

Completely pointless signing.

Maybe the point was to do him a solid like Dallas did for Zeke and give him a chance to catch on with a playoff team?

1 down a couple dozen more or so to go…

More like two Dozen or more. And that's not counting the Coaching Staff/Personnel Department.

His play was so pathetic he was stealing money,
How many here would have loved to have been cut a check for whatever he was paid for the time he was here (and that's after taxes) and essentially did nothing?

Good.

Can't pressure the QB. Selfish player. Buh-bye

Do you copy? Another Mayo statement that makes no sense. He releasing him to help the player? Never heard that before. Coaches usually mention what’s best for the team.

Makes sense in this very specific case where they claimed him in the second half of the season and prevented him from ending up with a playoff team. He can go try to earn some postseason pay now.

The overall idea is still really weird to me. There was talk that the Dolphins could have released Calais Campbell if they got eliminated last weekend. He’s been with them since June and started every game. It rubs me the wrong way to let starting quality players go join the best team for the playoffs.
