I mean, there's a reason he was available to us on the waiver wire in the first place. It was a worthwhile risk to take and they should leave no stone unturned because sometimes guys do play better on a different team, but on average this is probably what you're going to get from the waiver wire.

Exactly. I am terrified that this is the kind of scapegoating we're going to see on black monday, and in FA.
If they thought that was the move to send a message, they are so useless!
I'm losing more faith in Wolf every week. Because I'm just not sure who has been most vocal in determining the type of team, players, style, etc that they need for players. If it's been Mayo (normal for HC), then Wolf may have tried to fill Mayo's cupboard accordingly.
It all points to Mayo IMO. I'd give Wolf a 2nd year lightyears before I'd give Mayo one.
