Day 3: who do we target?

Strange is our best LG by far. Sow? Robinson? Schweizer?

Hopefully Sow is almost as good.
....

I seriously can't with you Sow people.

He was SO BAD last year, he couldn't beat out the bum dumpster fas we brought in off the couch, and his only snaps wre at ****ING FULLBACK.

If "Sow is almost as good as Strange" they both need to be cut.

But now we have options at LG and backup LG: Strange, Sow, Andrews, Robinson and even Schweitzer.
I really like how we have 3 OL coaches with Marrone being an established one. Hope they can get guys with experience like Stange and Sow to play to their ability.

To Strange's defense, he hasn't had the best position coaching since joining the team.

Sows ceiling at this point is practice squad

Strange will be the LG he is a substantial amount above those guys.
Wilson will be the backup at all 3 IOL spots. (And replace one of the 3 in 2026).
Layden Robinson despite being pathetic last year does have some positives and as a year 2 4th round pick should make the roster.
The 6th IOL will probably be on the practice squad, unless we draft one today who earns a spot.

there has been a lot of smoke around Mac McWilliams. Look to him in the 5/6th

Remaining needs: DT, Blocking TE, CB, K, LT, WR, QB, can always use pass rush...

They've be best to take another OT and DT sooner than later. They can find a blocking TE, Kicker and CB's later in the draft.

OT - Logan Brown, Cameron Williams (injury concern), Hollin Pierce, Dalton Cooper, Bryce Cabeldue,

DT - Josh Farmer, Ty Hamilton, Jordan Phillips, CJ West,

DE/OLB/Edge - Ty Robinson, Barryn Sorrell, David Walker, Antwaun Powell-Ryland, Ahmed Hassanein

WR - Jalen Royals, Elic Ayomanor, Tory Horton, Isaiah Bond, Dont'e Thornton, Keandre Lambert-Smith, Chimere Dike, Arian Smith,

QB - Kurtis Rourke,

TE - C.J. Dippre

LB - Jack Kiser, Shaun Dolac, Jamon Dumas-Johnson, Elijah Ponder,

CB/FS - Zah Frazier, Robert Longerbeam, Jordan Hancock, Bilhal Kone, Marcus Harris, Korie Black, J.J. Roberts, Kendall Paul,

I'm sure I missed a few...

I hope they don't just take a "blocking TE". That's definitely the skillset they need most in the current TE room, but Hooper is on a 1 year deal and Henry is on a 2 year deal and I wouldn't be on either lasting past that. This is a strong TE class by most accounts. It'd be great if they could find a well rounded TE to groom for the long term over a stop gap blocking TE. Just use an extra OT for that.
A TE who can block, you never draft a guy simply because he can do one thing. But neither Henry or Hooper are what we'd call overwhelming blockers, and if they're going to roster a third TE they need a road paver.

I don't hate the player, but I would have by far preferred an edge rusher or run stuffer here. Seems a round too early for this guy, with some better players on the board as far as I ranked them (which probably isn't worth much lol).

If we happen to add another RB, Kansas’ Devin Neal is the guy. Super underrated.

Wow These rbs are going to be like the cbs yesterday.

CJ DIPPRE

Dude out benched everyone but 1 at the combine.

Good athlete also who was a transfer, he could have a much better pro career than college one as a late arriver.

I don't know how much cold weather the N'east kickers play in as their seasons, barring a November rain here or there, are usually over by December.
Just looking at last year they played Virginia at home on Nov. 9 and then at BC on Nov. 30 (Clemson and L'ville were the other games). I don't know the weather conditions in those games but from the highlights it looked mild, no wind or rain. Sauls did hit a 57 yard FG vs. BC right before halftime so I'll give him that.
I think living in a cold weather climate, you get used to it even if there are only a few games in which the elements play a role. I think of the 58-0 blowout of Tenn in which Brady threw 5TDs in a half in crappy weather. Players said as soon as they saw the Titans take the field they knew it was over.

I think we need a

DT
EDGE
Kicker

Rest all are gravy... Blocking tight end/ fullback as UDFA .. maybe one CB with amazing measurables and ceiling but who is injured.

Jete got my other Beankie those m'r f'rs.
