I *love* how people read web sites and listen to Eddie Munster on ESPN and then decide they know what is what, and think BB is a blundering boob because he didn't do what they were told he should do.

No stupid talking head on TV can mastermind BB, nor can anyone here.

This appears to be a fine perhaps excellent draft given the relative weakness of the class, and BB gets to call the tune again during next years draft, for a stronger class, with an even more powerful roster then he had yesterday.

What a bum. I'd just bet most of the whiners never lived through 1-15 or 2-14, or Kim Hammond or Joe friggin Cap - or saw games at Fenway or BC. Like my sons they think the Pats should always win SB's. You guys are actually complaining during what figures to be the greatest era in Patriots history in our lifetimes. Too bad you are missing it.

The strangle thing is that the talking head understand that Cannon is a 2nd round talent and a great value. The talking heads understand that drafting the best blocking TE in the draft is a fine idea and a great value.

I expected nothing this last day. I was wrong. Belichick added two fine players. Cannon will start this year or next at RG and Smith will be Crumpler's replacement as a blocking TE, this year or next. Also, Smith is our backup long snapper.

I see us carrying 3 QB's, 4 RB's and 4 TE's, although an expanded roster could change that.
