Red Sox slugger David Ortiz is planning to retire at the end of the 2016 MLB season, according to a report from FOX baseball reporter Ken Rosenthal Tuesday, citing unnamed sources.

good for him. Definitely one of the most influential players in the organization and Boston Sports in general. Just watched a "documentary" on the Yankee series when we were down 3-0...what he did in that series is legendary.
