So what? Have a few years with nobody going in. Who cares. It's OUR HoF. Putting a cap of ONE a year on it just means deserving guys are gonna DIE before they ever get in. Some already have died!

Also kind of proves Wolf and Company made the right move back in February when they released him. The "haters" made a lot of noise at the time.

Epitome of the Patriot Way, what a great career and can't wait to see him back at Gillette to get his due. Might have to wait awhile to get his jacket, but I'd love to see him show up at TC this summer and start to enjoy his retirement and get some hard earned love from the fans.
they did? idk seemed obvious his recovery probably wasn’t going super well.

same, hope he sticks around the club to visit and help out

he looks like he lost quite a bit of weight, he can’t be 300 lbs. probably known for a while he’s going to retire

They may be maintains a pool to ensure that there’s always one to get in. It’s been relatively dry in terms of deserving players the last few. Eventually they’ll run out if none of the current generation pans out.
there are a whole slew of old time Patriot players who are deserving... Jim Colclough, Larry Eisenhauer, Ron Hall, Julius Adams, Tom Addison, Bill Lenkaitis, Vincent Brown, Fred Marion, Larry Garron, Tim Fox, Ed Reynolds just to name a few...

#1 for me is Julius Adams and 1A is Russ Francis. Then Fred Marion, Larry Garron, and Tim Fox and maybe Andy Johnson, Craig James.

absolutely Russ Francis. bad omission by me

Thanks for the memories, Dave!

There are plenty of candidates from the past that haven't received consideration because of the success of the last 25 years. Russ Francis, Julius Adams, Fred Marion, Pete Brock, Craig James, Larry Eisenhauer. I'm to old to remember the names now. I'm not saying they are all better than Andrews but they are at least as qualified. I'm definitely in on Francis and Adams. I forgot Sugar Bear.
For the longest time Russ Francis was the prototype of what you wanted at TE.

Gronk-lite if you will.

I think Andrews exceeded all expectations as he was considered by most as a backup at best going undrafted. He like Brady showed that a tape measure and a stop watch cant predict the future, nor can it determine the heart, desire and dedication to rise above. I never viewed Andrews as great but I always thought he was solid and had the perfect attitude to lead the line. Enjoy your retirement Mr. Andrews....you deserve it!

Jon Jones, Deatrich Wise, JaJuwan Bentley, Joe Cardona, and David Andrews all in one off-season.

Carlton Davis, Josh McDaniels, and Vrabel are the only ones who have played and coached with Brady…..
