That was an unbelievable catch by Amendola. As many on this board can attest to I couldn't stand the guy when he first got here but I really like how he has grown into his role on this team. He does his job as a depth player and steps up in big moments. He will never come close to Welker in terms of stats but he may very well pass Welker in terms of contributions to key victories.

I also think Amendola highlights just how good Edelman has become because on any other team Amendola would likely put up 60-70 catches and 700-800 yards a season.

Wow, one of the truly spectacular plays I can remember, especially at that point in the game. That was just nuts.

Watching him pull the ball in after extending his arms to make the catch was impressive!
