Cutting off Branch: First indication of franchise rot?

He's gone, he left for the money. He wasn't the first and he won't be the last. It's time to move on and I feel fortunate that we have a FO that can and will overcome this loss. Despite seemingly the entire football world taking pot shots at them, they'll just continue to try to field the best team they can under the circumstances.
