Well, here it is, tons of Pats at in the top 5 at their position, a few surprises too.
Bolded a few surprises, to me at least. Arrington has been solid, but I think a lot of his votes come from being tied for 1st in interceptions. Chung has missed some time, but he is a solid safety too, are the AFC Safeties really that far and few between? I like him but I'm not sure he's #3. (after typing, remembering voting is broken into SS and FS). And lastly, Connolly, I guess 5th isn't too high in voting, but that's pretty impressive what peoples opinions of him are considering he's been a career backup before last season and only starting due to injuries.
Guards are just guards, same as Tackle, correct (no left/right)? In that case I guess I'm OK with Mankins 1 and Waters 4, maybe they should even be reversed this season, but Mankins' reputation, especially after all the press he got last season and during the lockout will probably keep him at #1 for a long time.
A look at the Patriots that are currently ranked in the top 5 among AFC balloting:
Quarterback: Tom Brady (1st, 537,780 votes)
Wide receiver: Wes Welker (1st, 430,945)

Offensive tackle: Matt Light (2nd, 116,199)
Guard: Logan Mankins (1st, 130,982), Brian Waters (4th, 73,691)
Center: Dan Connolly (5th, 68,628)
Defensive end: Andre Carter (2nd, 136,251)
Defensive tackle: Vince Wilfork (3rd, 110,704)
Cornerback: Kyle Arrington (3rd, 148,889)
Strong Safety: Patrick Chung (5th, 17,995)
Kicker: Stephen Gostkowski (5th, 21,569)
Punter: Zoltan Mesko (5th, 17,614)
