This I can agree with. I never wanted to pay him what the Eagles paid him. But to try to convince yourself and, much worse, others that Bodden is a better CB (like some are trying to do) is ridiculous.

Samuel is overrated because he is a former Patriot. Even though I'm a "homer", I've always said he was overrated even while he was here.

Bodden > Samuel for the Patriots defense.
Samuel > Bodden for the Eagles defense.

Neither is worth more than $6-7M a year.
