Curran: Pats may add familiar receiver

I think you bring him in as a stable vet presence. It makes a ton of sense to bring him back.

While folks are seeking a Moss replacement, Brady would settle for someone who knows the offense. Moss, Welker, and Faulk offered stability in the passing game -- now two of them are gone. This makes Welker Mr. Reliable, while the rest of Brady's targets are still learning how to run their routes. The addition of Branch would not be to provide a stretch-the-field receiver, but to lend reliable support for Brady as he tries to run the offense.

Again, what Branch did with Brady is irrelevant now. He can't run anymore. He's not healty right now, so there's no question on whether or not he can "stay healthy".

That's pretty horribly wrong all the way around. He's healthy right now and looks as quick as ever.

Personally, I would take Deion back way before I put in Taylor Price to watch him struggle with his route running and footwork again.

Has anyone seen anything on Price to evaluate his route running and footwork?

I haven't seen him play at all that I can recall....

Hard to tell if this is a tease based on something he knows or speculation.

The same five I posted in another thread....Branch? Patten? Holt? Aiken? Washington?

I always have wanted Branch back. He has showed some life the past couple of weeks in Seattle, but they would probably part with him. Wishful thinking, likely.

Chad Jackson!

seems like curran shooting all over

Personally, I would prefer for Belichick to talk to Denver about Jabar Gaffney than to Seattle about Deion Branch. Because Denver is deep at wide receiver.
