A trade of headaches.....
He thinks BJ has a better chanve of performing..as he is quick and fast and can (KR...basically..) sullivan's been paid 11 mill..so he may NOT care at all...

Two points on this :

1) If the Patriots felt like they gave something up for Sullivan they will have talked to him and looked into him extensively. Starks proves this isn't perfect but they will have researched his desire.

2) If they didn't do a lot of research it likely means Bethel was gone anyway so they're just taking a shot.

Remember BB looks at value. This was a 1 for 1 trade, ie. value pick.?

Obviously Sullivan has more value at this point than Johnson, as in performer
in our system or maybe, as said elsewhere, trade bait if he shows something
at TC.?

Johnson himself said he felt he has done everything he could, that it is not up
to him.

In closing I'm going to throw this out, speed uncontrolled is just an accident
waiting to happen. BJ case in point,....ya think?

Accident: Falling down, not being where expected. Possible result, INT!

Plus if the Pats use BJ just as a long ball threat, post or whatever, how long
will it take the other team to neutralize it? Not long. Deep safety with smarts?

Felger had it right on NEST. Great shot at upside on a guy who wouldn't make the team, likely, anyway. If Sullivan is cut - no big deal, we're basically where we would have been anyway.
