Tom Curran is the man. Really, the guy is always on point, always reasonable, never looking for attention and he is funny as hell both in writing and over radio/TV.

Today on EEI he ripped on Borges - as he often does - with a pretty funny story. He said that after the Mo Lewis hit, he had guaranteed Borges that Bledsoe would never get his job back.

First game Brady's playing, first pass was an overthrow to Patten. Borges is up in the press box, turns around to Curran and goes "HA HA! That's what you were waiting for!?" (I can't do Curran's Borges impersonation justice over the net of course).

And the rest is history...

I've said it before, I love TC.

Wonder if he still hangs around here? Here, Tommy Tommy Tommy, here, Tommy Tommy Tommy.

curran rules.

U heard it and it was funny..I LOVE Curran...miss him on the Pats beat...he is a sold guy..a gain for MSNBC....

I always take a peek over to www.nbcsports.com, his columns are good as always too bad we have to share him. I liked it when he just covered the Pats.

The Pro Jo's loss is NBC Sports Gain... Tom Curren is the best....

curran will no longer be doing the pats pregame show anymore on eei.

When did you hear that????

I've emailed him a couple times, and he has always emailed me back. He even forwarded one of my emails to BB.

I know he drinks a bit of the Koolaide. But he has also been critical at times as well.

He is without a doubt, hands down, my favorite Pats beat writer.

I believe Curran said at the end of today's big show.

Got a new computer and don't have the email anymore.

It was last year a game or two after Seymour came back from injury. And I just tried getting some insight from Curran as to why BB insisted on running a 3/4 when the 4/3 had looked so effective earlier in the season.

Curran's response wasn't long. He just said something like "I forwarded it to him, let's see if he responds".

BB never responded. But considering he makes millions of dollars a year and will go to the hall of fame for his defensive schemes, he didn't need to respond to a fan second guessing him.

I don't remember my exact wording, but fortunately I had started th email off praising BB. I really would have felt bad if the only correspondance BB ever saw from me was strictly critical of him.
