Could the trade with Oakland be a precursor to R. Moss?

It doesn't make much sense to me why the Pats would exchange 3rd round picks and a 7th with Oakland. I can understand the Pats thinking next years draft will be better, and that explaining 1st and 2nd round deals (such as the SF deal earlier today.)

Is it possible that the Pats and Oakland have a plan or were close to a plan /deal to be worked out with Randy Moss with pics needing to be discussed & a contract laid out overnight with Moss and his agent?

Just a thought. Anyone else think something is up?
