heard a snippet of Lombardi this morning. And he basically said, or at least hinted at, belichick not starting Jones in game one. his reasoning being that if Jones starts and plays terribly and belichick has to pull him and sit himthere could be no getting his confidence back.

Mac Jones has played in some enormous games for one of the biggest teams in the world. What in the world are we doing? He can start game 2 but not game one? Game 5 but not game 4 bc big bad Brady & Bruce are coming to town.

If Mac is the best option then he should be playing. You can't bubble wrap him or pretend he's that room in house that no one is allowed to go in.

I don't drink coffee. But I remember the first and only time my wife asked me to stop by an get her and her friend a coffee from Starbucks on the way home. I ordered some **** that didn't make any sense...I even wondered at the time "how the hell does she even know what the **** she is getting. Its like its own goddamn language. I mean sophmore's will soon be able to select Starbucks as a language credit." Then I get the coffees and the lady says something like $8.50. I said, no I just got two coffees. She said I know and that is $8.50. I nearly **** myself.

She has never asked me to get her a Starbucks coffee again nor does she even mention getting a coffee from Starbucks anymore to me. Its a dead subject.

I kind of get this, but also don’t really understand the implications… wouldn’t the same thing be true in week 6 if we put him in then?
