Arena League football style does not win you NFL playoff games.

The Colts are truly finished.

It won't be Manning - he did everything to win this game hahahahaha - it will be Vanderjerk who takes the fall. Not the Golden Boy.

I hope the Colt trolls are gone for good now.

I will say as a Colts fan, like I say every year. We Got Outplayed.

There are no Excuses in football. It shouldn't have even been as close as it was. That was an interception, and Bettis had no business trying for the TD.

Hey Greg, first congratulations on your year....let me provide you with excuses that seem legitimate on this particular board.

1. "We beat ourselves"

2. "The refs beat us, not the opposing team"

3." Forced fumbles by the punter do not count as legitimate turnovers"

Since these excuses were used just yesterday, i'm sure you can use them today...

You can cross off "home field advantage" as one of the reasons they don't go to the Super Bowl.

Another Manning playoff meltdown....perhaps they did take too many weeks off at the end of the season.

It was actually a pretty good game...the better team (Pittsburgh) played better in the first 3 quarters to win then almost gave the game away...I think that the rest vs rust theory is now over..in the afc you play every game to win...as far as Dungy wanting to kick it back on 4th and 2 and manning wanting to go for it manning made the right call...he just did not get it done..and vanderjerk..whenever we need him he fails us...Vinateri would have made that kick in a dome..even cower was surprised he missed..overall it probably does not really matter with you guys out, the colts out..Denver will beat Pitt and win it all.....Indy was outplayed but put a scare in Pitt and It was a good game...I would have like to have came back and won..but it is what it is..

How much do you want to bet that the fat, stupid drunk kicker is cut by the Colts before next season. He missed that kick the same way he missed the one against the Pats in opener last year. Both misses cost his team, one a playoff loss and one that changed the home field advantage for last years playoffs. I would not be surprised to see him cut. Not a pressure kicker.

No, the refs tried to take it away. That was an interception.

Wow. Another one who thinks Vandy should be absolved of ANY blame.

Did you watch the game?

Does Manning get any?

No Vanderjagt lost the game at the end, but Manning was uncharacteristically off target and awful for the first three quarters. In fact if you looked at the whole team, there was not much energy or excitement coming from them until mid 4th quarter. Either they thought the game was going to be easy or they felt a football game after the Dungy tragedy wasn't that important. I didn't see the spark, that the Steelers had.

Just like Manning, Peytonbetter ran and hid when the pressure got to him.

Absolutely. He did not play well. In fact, it reminded me a lot of the pats game. It's hard for ANY quarterback to play well when he's on his back most of the time. Peyton gets some of the blame, no question.

I just get a kick out of people here laying ALL of the blame on Peyton.

I will bet anything you want he doesn't get cut, name your price.

Actually, he's cost us 2 postseason game's. Missed one in Miami in 2000 that would've WON the game.

IMO, he has to go.

Isn't Vinatieri a free agent?
