Colvin's 4Q advice to Belichick

It also indicates that a defensive player like Colvin knows a hell of a lot more about play calling than Josh McDaniels , who is supposed to be the offensive coordinator.

I would have hoped that it would have been McDaniels to come up with something like that, and not Rosey Colvin. But, apparently McDaniels did not.

It's pretty sad when a defensive player has to come up with an offensive suggestion that , DID prove to be right, instead of the OC.

Doesn't say much, at least IMO, about the OC's abilities.

This clip proves nothing of this, except that you want to believe it did. We have put up a ton of points in the past 5 weeks and there is nothing to believe that McDaniels has not done a good job. Colvin made an observation, and he relayed it to the coach, nothing more and nothing less.. it says nothing about McDaniels except you want to believe that it does.

I agree. NEMster, Colvin made an observation from a D players perspective -- and a good suggestion, at that -- but to say that he "knows a hell of a lot more than Josh" is nonsense. Utter baloney. You're endangering your cred as an "offensive guru", unless, of course you're just trying to be "offensive".

Well, apparently McDaniels did not suggest it, Colvin did.

I doubt McDaniels would have done it in the way it was done from Colvin's suggestion.

What we do know is that COLVIN suggested it to BB.

We have no idea, at all, if McDaniels even thought of it.

Colvin didn't suggest diddly. They went to the 3 receiver set because SD's third corner was a weakness. They knew SD was too high at the beginning and rushed the same guys every time.

Colvin just told them their strategy was working.

Why not come to a conclusion baesed on the facts, instead of saying the same thing over and over then trying to twist the truth to fit it.

That guy that's constantly meeting with Brady and BB, his names McDaniel, right?
