It's easy, and only takes a few moments.Yet if it works out, they'll look like geniusesThe Vrabel hire looks better with each hire made across the league. These teams are so damn desperate and are getting taken to the bank by the unknown.
Not my fault the links are broken when I share them I would say they are there but I’d sound crazy. So we will just say I’m a Jerk who likes to post non functional links.W
What, not even another nonfunctional facebook link?

Okay... but what I was looking for was hard confirmation that Coen had signed with Jacksonville. Sure at this point everyone expects him to but as yet there's nothing confirming he's signed on the dotted line or that is for top money or that he gets to pick the GM
Pretty amateur hour for Coen to duck calls and use his kid as a deflector.Timeline for those interested.
-Khan keeps the GM Baalke despite everyone thinking he's insane
-Coen is their number 1 candidate. He and others back out.
-Comes out that they are losing candidates because nobody wants to work with Baalke
-Coen signs an extension with Tampa making him the highest paid OC in the NFL contingent that he doesn't take another interview this cycle.
-Jags fire Baalke after being humiliated over situation.
-Coen pretends his kid is sick and ignores the Bucs calls all day so he can interview and negotiate with the Jags.
Why start now?Be a man, Coen
Sure. But it's usually reserved for the really high stature candidates like Harbaugh and Shanahan. The Jags are desperate. His own GM? You can do that?
Wtf
Mike Florio has a nice article on that. Basically, once he flames out at Jax (most likely), he’s going to have a lot of convincing to do to get another NFL job.Pretty amateur hour for Coen to duck calls and use his kid as a deflector.

It’s Florida he wrote It on a bag of cokeDid he write on a napkin that he is resigning as O.C. of the T.B.B.s ????????

Liam Coen saga brings odd twists to the coaching carousel
The key here which I bolded is that Coen actually didn’t sign a contract but rather had a verbal agreement. The day he was supposed to come in to sign it he ghosted the Bucs and met again with the Jags. It would have been more professional if he had simply told the Bucs that he needed a little more time to weigh his options, but he may have been afraid of the offer being pulled off the table and potentially not landing the Jags gig after all. I’m not sure. Ethical or not he certainly used whatever leverage he had to get the coaching job he wanted in the end.Timeline for those interested.
