Coach Belichick's sweatshirt

the coaches now have their initials embroidered... i remember getting ready to leave the team hotel for a home game, with my jersey on, like many fans at the hotel, and this dude gets in the elevator... i said hi, and he said hi... then, as i stepped out, i noticed "EM" on his gray hooded sweatshirt... i was thinking it was just one of the many fans, then i realized it was eric. kinda cool moment

almost as cool as the next week, when, after cleaning up the room to go to the game, i had my opened 18-pack (hey, i wasnt wasting 12 beers) waiting for the elevator.. i was only on the 2nd floor, so i was just about to take the stairs, when the doors open, and AV is there... i shoulda offered him a beer, but i knew you guys would get p1ssed at me.

I was in the Pats Pro Shop last summer looking for the same thing, hoodie version, they told me that Rebok was trying to discontinue this item as it's "shelf life" was over. Very disapointed, however in the fall found it on line again and got mine. It seems that there is some ambivalence from the manufacturer, according to the Pats staff, about keeping these in stock.

Now that is funny! Reebok could not ask for a better "spokesman" than BB. He doesn't want any $$$ and he wears their product DAILY! I have seen other NFL coaching staffs wearing those, though not with the hood....

Yeah, I'm a little surprised at the ebay thing. I loked on ebay for years before I got mine from the Proshop. They never had it. You'd think someone would want to make a buck on it, because they definitely could.

I don't know. I always thought Cowboys' fans saved their venom for NFC East rivals. But I guess we had the nerve to win "three out of four" and steal their thunder, so maybe they're a little annoyed. Definitely wouldn't wear it on a deserted street in Indy or Pittsburgh tho...

Yeah, I'm a little surprised at the ebay thing. I loked on ebay for years before I got mine from the Proshop. They never had it. You'd think someone would want to make a buck on it, because they definitely could.

It's "NFL Equipment(c)," so knocking it off and selling it on the Web would get someone in trouble...however, I'm surprised you don't find people hawking knock-offs on the streets of Boston like the guys who sell the fake Rolexes and Gucci bags in New York...

I remember they were wearing embroidered gear in the preseason and early on this year, but I haven't seen too many since then...BB's wasn't embroidered during the Playoffs, as far as I know...

That just shows you how stupid some marketing people can be. Here you have an item that everyone wants, it's out of stock, and they are thinking about discontinuing it because they feel it's lost it's "shelf life"! I thought an item lost it's "shelf life" when people stopped buying it? Moron's

I am sure that BB has a closet full of them just in case!
