Don't worry....Blandino knows when to pick a Boger....
Blandino picking his referees....

Joe Gepetto for the playoffs..........

He also measured the balls at HT during the AFCC game and it was also his crew that threw about 5-6 OPI flags against the Pats in Dallas earlier this year.
We're boned...

More evidence we should just show up and take a knee every offensive play and fait catch punts, if there are any. Rest the walking wounded.
League would go ballistic!
Since they'll invent something bogus to take away the rest of our draft during the playoffs, might as well force their hand now. Embrace the H8!

Honestly the Jets have an uphill battle to make it to playoffs. They have to beat both NE at home and Bills away. Then they have to hope PIT or KC drop one of last 2 against Ravens, Browns, and Raiders. I just don't see it happening. NFL would have to fix multiple games to allow the Jets in.

What's interesting is that if Jets win out and Denver drops one of last 2, and KC wins out, then KC wins division and Jets get in with Denver out. That would be crazy.

Which should make it all the more sweeter if the Pats can end their season on Sunday with a crippling loss.

I don't think we should worry about the Jets at all. Things Pats have already accomplished:

1. Make playoffs (Check);
2. Win Division (Check);
3. Get first round Bye (Check);
4. Get HFA (almost);
5. Have healthy players (not even close).

To me resting our injured players (HT, Dola, Chung, McCourty) is more important than trying to keep Jets out of playoffs and win HFA. If we can't beat Jets with our supporting cast then we can certainly whip the Phins the following week. To me item 5 is more important than 4 but I think we get 4 against Miami anyway.

You also have to worry about rust too. I highlighted this in another thread, but it bears repeating here. The benefits of winning this game are as follows:

1. Lock up HFA.

2. Two weeks rest for the walking wounded.

3. Knocking a bitter division rival that knows us well out of the playoffs.

And you can add the rust factor in there. I don't think Belichick wants some of the team's most important players to go maybe three weeks without seeing any game action. That's why I expect everyone who can possibly go to play. If they win, then the walking wounded can take Week 17 off.

But what if in trying to do that (God forbid, knock on wood) we lose HT for the season? To me it won't be worth it.

You could lose guys for the season every week. HFA is still important and it's worth playing for unless you want to count on other teams falling flat on their faces. I don't think Belichick is going to take that chance. If the likes of Hightower, Chung, McCourty, Amendola, etc. can't go, then leave them out of the game plan. Otherwise, all hands on deck.

But this is all a moot point. Clete Blakeman is reffing this game so it's a guarantee that the Pats are going to lose because da fix is in!

Yep, we're doomed. Just like that playoff game against Indy last year.

Or the Super Bowl where we had less penalties than the Seahawks. Or in the entire 2015 season where the Pats have had 88 total accepted penalties and the opposition has had 96. As per usual with the league office, they can't even get fixing the games right. Might as well phone Bill and tell him not to show up on Sunday. Clete's got the Jets backs.

If anyone is just now figuring out that the folks at 345 Park don't want the Pats back in the SB, well, there's nothing I can do about that. Even though the Pats still get home field if they lose Sunday and beat the Dolphins in Week 17, it means they'd have to play everybody and risk injury in that game. The League is doing its best to take every possible advantage away from the Patriots and put every "legal" obstacle in their way.

Yeah... off the field they're being extremely petty. I'm still not convinced they're manipulating the games on the field. Nothing that I've seen bears that out to be true over the officials just being completely inept. Some of you seriously need to pop that New England bubble you're in and watch other games. They've been terrible all over the place this year. If some of you refuse to pop that New England bubble, look no further than that affair on MNF between the Lions and the Seahawks.

Blakeman doesn't like us ever since Brady got in his face after the Carolina game a few years ago.

At times that dallas game was a nightmere because of the officiating, it was like boyer and his crew were trying to keep the girls in the game.

Depends which pats team plays this sunday. full strength minus edelman or minus edleman,amendola,hightower,chung, mcourty. That would even out their chances.

Somehow we are equating their dumbness and ineptness to notorious intelligent scheming vs the pats. If the league ever ends up being accused for fixing then the whole thing will go down. They are extremely sensitive to gambling accusations with all these useless injury reports. Fixing will end the nfl, they care for it more than concussions.

I agree that the Phins are terrible and our backups could probably beat them. But if the Pats went into Miami and lost to a **** team in December truly WTF fashion, it wouldn't be the first time.
