Sky Moore was a massive dud in KC. 49ers are in desperation mode and just realized how horrible their WR room is. Kyle Shanahan is doing his usual excuse making this time by preemptive strike saying to lower the 49ers expectations because the Super Bowl window has closed. That is just a wild statement for a HC to make. I couldn't imagine BB telling the press "Well that's it for now guys. Don't expect much from us".

49ers are going to struggle in games like last season and people will question Purdy's contract.

Have people forgotten every single training camp Thorton would make a couple plays that had everyone thinking hey maybe he's turned the corner and is going to be the impact WR we thought we drafted? Then the real games started and he showed he's actually Houdini. This news gets a big old meh from me until I see him catching 2-3 bombs a game and making any kind of real difference.
