The negative public perception during our dynasty vs. the growing negative perception of the Chiefs dynasty.

Do you guys feel like this whole thing was any different with ours? I have to remember I saw our entire era through our biased lenses, but even with that that, this still feels different.

I get this feeling that the hate I have for them is more justified. It’s not just simply a “hating them for constantly winning” thing. The way they do it and the way they are everywhere in the media is pretty insufferable.

It felt like more fans were willing to credit us for what we accomplished. I feel like a much larger majority of fans really feel like the system is deliberately working in the Chiefs favor constantly. Is it just me thinking that?

Well opposing fanbases had Spygate/Deflategate to ***** about but I've never seen not just fanbases but some pundits even call out the officiating. Me personally I don't think it's rigged the Queefs just know how to win and the rest of the league just sucks

Very solid team. Where are the Peyton Mannings the Chiefs have had to go through though? The Allen’s and Jackson’s of the world surely aren’t them. Where are the nasty defenses like the Lewis/Reed Ravens? They’ll always be 0-2 vs. Brady in the big games

Agree 100%. The chiefs play in an era where it’s safer for wr. Guys used to get crushed going over the middle.

The one thing I will tell you about football is the game is more difficult now than when the Pats were winning. So in my opinion the KC team and player accomplishments, should they win this Superbowl, are beyond anything the Patriots team and it's players accomplished during their period of success.

As for Fan Hate, the Patriots were hated much more as a team and some players than the KC team hate for winning as much as they have. The Patriots were perceived as cheaters of the game, owner, Robert and Jonathan Kraft, Bill Belichick and Tom Brady.

Damn, that one play in the 4th quarter where it looked like the Bills got the first down. One ref signalled first down, the other not…. Damn. I think the Pats are head and shoulders over the chiefs . We had much tougher competition. Im an Eagles fan for now!

I think the refs been giving a pass to the chiefs…
They been bailed out all season long.

With that said, they know how to win.
And that POS Spagnulo actually called a solid defensive game. That corner blitz was fantastic.
Allen made a heroic throw but his receiver choked like Andrew’s last week.

Honestly I think the Ravens would have been a much better match up vs the chiefs instead of the bill chokers.

Lamar is a better QB than Allen.

Lol Lamar !?

Is it the same? No. The league hated us and were trying to go against us everytime they could.

The league love KC and are doing everything they can to make them win.

The chiefs "manning" folded like a cheap paper suit tonight

I agree with the first part. The ref with better angle signaled a first down and was overturned. That didn’t feel right.

I agree, but I think that started around 2006 or 2007, after our first 3 championships. The league (NY Jets inc.) worked against us while they seem to be aiding the KC Swifts.

Not just receivers but also the QB. Somewhere there's a full five minutes reel of nothing but Brady getting absolutely crushed. Today, if someone dares to breath on Mahomes, it's a personal foul.

different eras, impossible to compare. part of me hopes the chefs pull it off, it will push this new crew even harder to succeed.
It's kinda turning into a Lakers/Celtics thing.

We kick ass and win a whole bunch
They kick ass and win a whole bunch

Now our turn...

From the Apple Doc:
Tedy Bruschi admits he “sort of liked” being the bad guy, adopting a “f— ‘em all” attitude that would carry New England to new heights. The Patriots wore their defiance as a badge of honor, channeling their frustration into an undefeated 2007 regular season.

“That team lived long enough and won long enough to become the villain,” said Michael Strahan of the archrival Giants, who, of all the Patriots’ enemies, would be the biggest thorn in their side.
The Pats became the bad guys, the Chiefs are pretty much there. Everyone loves a winner until they win too much.
