Chiefs Coach Andy Reid on Headset Issues at Gillette, "I haven't had any issues there"

maybe KC reporters won't be as lazy, narcissistic, and shallow and try to dig up some good or interesting stories. Compared to half or so of our own local guys.

Thanks Andy for taking the high road.

Well I'm sure the NYJFL* will rectify that issue on Saturday. I know I'm ready for it. how about you guys?

Andy is too friendly with BB to spit ******** like that. But it's worth remembering too that Andy lost to BB in SBXXXIX; some Eagles players and executives (Banner, Lurie) have, at the very least, passive aggressively let speculation spread when asked about STOLEN SIGNALZ. Yet the man who would know the most about Eagles' football ops at the time has never said a peep.

Andy Reid doesn't want the distraction. Plus he knows headset issues occur in just about every stadium in the league.

Well, a lot of people in the league hate BB and I bet some coaches too but they respect the hell out of him, I wonder what would be the general feeling inside the coaches inner circle about Mike Tomlin. When he goes and vomit words on a mic like that radio interference crap, it must be difficult for a coach to agree with Tomlin because he lacks integrity, you go and agree with him you're setting yourself to a lower level.

But he went a step further and said: he NEVER had them at Gillette, but did in other cities.

Reid can't manage a clock and may wear such a large nfl golf shirt so that it looks like a Hawaiian dress, but is a standup guy.

The NFL controls the headsets?? from an old PFT piece.. that ends with skepticism.

“The coaches’ communications equipment, including the headsets, is provided by the NFL for both clubs use on game day,” the league said in a statement this morning. “The home team is responsible for the installation and maintenance of that equipment. Every team’s game day communications personnel are required to work with the NFL communications consultants to ensure wireless equipment is free and clear of interference and address any problems. Technological and stadium infrastructure issues of this type happen at many stadiums around the league and whenever there are issues of this nature, we do a thorough review.”

Yea there is a relationship there b/t/w those two. Two old coaching salts covering for each other.

Reid as a coach deserves some criticism but as a person and professional I respect him a great deal.

Tomlin is an ass. He really damaged himself with that accusation.
