People keep writing that they aren't sure if the fans realize the team ran for a punishment when they cheer a lap...I think most know what's going on, it is just fun/funny to see them have to run its more like cheering a friend on as they do something stupid. Plus it gives a good up-close view of the players.

I started to cheer it today because Hobbs started dogging them and laughing when it happened and I found that hilarious.

Any thoughts? Am I wrong and are we/they just stupid or does that make sense?

Training camp's tough as it is, we the fens don't need to punish players, the coaches do enough of that.

Yup...it's the closest many get to see the players...esp when it's like today the offense as a group...always happens...a good point.

I think it shows a closeness between the players and the fans that care so much that they come to training camp. The players have to be able to recognize this. The fans that are there, for the most part, must be some of the best fans in New England. I see no problem.

I don't know, I get the impression the players are wise cracks and can take a joke, don't you? So the fact that you guys are dogging them for getting in trouble, I would think the players are secretly laughing along with ya... Hell, they are probably making fun of you for making fun of them...

It was very funny that Hobbs was pointing and laughing...I half expected BB to make Hobbs run for calling out the offense.

The fans at TC love to cheer for this team whenever given the opportunity...hey there are some baseball teams that don't get this kind of support when they are at home and ahead in a game.

Interesting that Moss and Gaffney were at the end of the line when the offense was running.
