Chandler Jones season in jeopardy

I know Im stating the obvious to many of us, but the fact that he hasn't been IR'd means something very significant in my mind.. about the potential of Jones' return.. and the value that Belichick puts on having him on the field for the playoffs.

Absolutely, I'm just a little confused by the importance of no mention of a surgery when I wasn't aware any surgery was expected. That's why I asked if I missed some information along the way.

Bill said he was "making progress" but that could honestly mean anything so i really don't take that into account. But i agree. No IR means he is either making progress and they know he definitely has a chance to come back is a good thing

If he hurt his hip the pain could have been radiating down his leg? Could be the cause of that maybe?

Yet again more proof that reporting is a lost art, reporting these days is just crap, espn, or any media idiot spews to get someone to read it....can't believe anyone anymore. Used to be that bad reporting resulted in some form of accountability, not in this world anymore, and it isn't just sports.

We're definitely going to need him in the playoffs. We can get by with rotating Ayers/Nink/Hightower/Moore rotating at attacking the QB for the rest of the regular season. But we need him fresh in January.

Didn't Willie McGinest have a similar issue in his third season? His and Jones careers have started out very similarly.
