Chandler Jones avoids ankle surgery

Patriots defensive end Chandler Jones did not need surgery on either of his injured ankles, according to a source.

Jones said last week that he would need to consult the team doctor to discuss a course of action, and he didn't rule out surgery. But it looks like rest will be the best method of recovery.

Oh God, another horrible decision. Fire Dr. Gill. Of course, if the decision would have been to operate, that also would have been a horrible decision, once again justifying Dr. Gill's dismissal.

Have to see this as good news. Wherever a full recovery is possible without surgery,that's always good news.
