Celtics 2024-2025 Discussion

This is a clown show tonight. Who are these guys? They aren't the Celtics, thats for sure.
Rough start but Nets look like they’re all going to be hooked up to oxygen machines at halftime.

Breaking: Ben Simmons scored

Hauser’s defense is underrated. Sure, he stands no chance against against Luka, but against most NBA players, he can really defend. Good body control.

As each game goes on, Browns’ absence is felt. I keep saying it but it's true.

They don’t have anyone else who can slash besides Tatum. So many perimeter shooters. Teams just stacking against Tatum’s penetration.

From my eyes, Pritchard puts insane amounts of backspin into his shots. I was going to post this even before he got that roll.

They are cooking a bit now, I like Walsh's defensive awareness, seems to be growing. One of the best things is Queta and Walshes development right now.

It’s pretty clear that the offense is missing JB. One of the best in the league at driving to the rim. Offense looks far less dominant than it did.

I still fully expect them to win this game though.

What a joke of a last shot, as usual

Loser ball at the end. Whenever Tatum gets the ball at the end of a game, it always ends up in a brick. ISO Tatum blows and although he knows it, he still f-ing does it. So damn frustrating.

Notice the Warriors drew up some open last shots on Wednesday? Even though they have Steph. Remains my biggest gripe about Mazulla, or the superstar pecking order or whatever.

Also Tatum takes the technical free throws when he’s in the game even though White, Holiday, and Pritchard all better free throw shooters.

That’s on Mazzula too. All he has is that one OOB play where Tatum starts at mid court that they used tonight.

Tatum is a clutch player but he’s not a clutch last second chucker.

It was nice to see the team not show any loss of faith in Hauser despite his shot being off. Kept feeding him when he was open until he hit a big one.

Satisfying win. Nets are scrappy.
Get used to it. When you're the Champs you get every opponents' best game every night.
C' s were strong when it really mattered in crunch time.
Biggest difference? C's were getting crushed on the boards all night- until late 4th qtr.
Tatum got more aggressive going to the hoop. Jrue did his thing. DWhite did his thing.
PP too.
And Hauser drove me nuts all game could not buy a 3. Until he hit the one that really counted.
I enjoyed it

Well that was a tiring game. I feel like I just ran a marathon but actually I just sat on my ass.

Nets have to feel good about their FIVE first round picks coming from the Knicks. Are they even better with Bridges? He’s a finesse guy. That team is a bunch of ****ing grinders.

C’s shot 14/53 on threes and won the game. So I’ll take it.

Felt like the Nets had way, way too many uncontested gimmie layups. Celtics had to grind for everything. Really had that feelings Cs would lose. Bad bounces all over the place. Nets also out-rebounded us 51-39.

Tatum’s dunk was awesome.

White’s block was epic.

Another fun game to watch.

Cleveland manhandled Golden State btw. 40 point halftime lead. Yes, you read that right. Cs need to keep working on developing Queta. This isn’t going to be a cakewalk. The NBA has become very top heavy these days with a lot of dominant teams.

PP is making me proud. Knew he could be one of the top bench players on the league. Really confident and can make plays both on the three point line and down low. Scrappy defender to minimize the size disadvantage.
