If the new CBA puts a faorable crimp on rookie contracts then I could see the Pats trading up for someone they covet.
Yet the pats do not like to tip apple cart in the lockerroom by signing big contract rookies.
You almost have to ensure a seymour or mayo to justify. But we got Seymour when Belicheck was still rebuilding and we actually traded down before taking Seymour.
I think we need d-Line another seymour. Yet if we cannot get that at Raiders pick
we could easily trade out for 2012 firstrounder to a weak hand and hope to move up.
It is my understanding though this year is favorable for underclassman and D-line.
