Ravens free agent DL Lawrence Guy is visiting the Patriots today

A key rotational piece for the Ravens' defensive line, Guy appeared in all 16 games last season and received very strong marks from Pro Football Focus for his run defense. The Redskins need help up front, especially against the run, and even more so if DE Chris Baker leaves as a free agent. Guy turns 27 next Friday and could be a nice get as a second-tier addition.

Haven't posted on here in a while but got word last night from a close source last night however I wasn't comfortable posting it. He's reportedly choosing between Arizona (local) and New England (contender) however I believe the Broncos could give him a call (that run defense). Anyway he's tough against the run and would be another solid addition to the defensive line. Get this man signed Bill he's got plans tonight and a big day tomorrow!

Typical Patriots DL. Good hands, tall, gets off the ball, doesn't quit and is versatile. Other measurables are pretty average. Totally worth a look.

One negative on his is that he has dyslexia and ADD.. Both acknowledged prior to him going pro..

09/21/16 - DE Lawrence Guy was named AFC Special Teams Player of the Week. Against the Cleveland Browns, Guy blocked extra point that was returned for two points. The Ravens trailed 20-0 at that time, but scored 25 consecutive points to escape with the victory -- the second-largest comeback in team history. Guy also started the past two weeks at defensive end.
