Can Slater work the Slot for Brady?

That's the last thing he can do.

He can occupy a single DB, with the requirement that the DB be fast enough to run with him. Or he can line up as a WR and block.

I'm not aware of a third contribution he can make on offense.

Slater has stone hands. If he didn't, his excellent speed would make him a legit threat to take the top of defenses.

Yeah, Slater has top football IQ, incredible straight line speed, and beats a jam like no one in the league, very possibly better than anyone in league history. Unfortunately, he just can't catch the football, which makes him mostly useless as anything but a distraction.
