Can our Defense get better?

Our defense his great when we have our three linemen in. Other packages have been poor.

Problem is, our most athletic players in the front seven pound for pound are our linemen.

Bigger problem is, except for A.D., our linemen might be more athletic period.

Does seem like we are 1/2 step slow at times in the back 7. I honestly believe we will beat the Colts. But, Manning will put some points up on us. Probably over 24. One way to limit that would be a strong running game to run a little once we get up to shorten the game. But, need to get Maroney healthy to do that.

Every time the announcers said they're playing with one lineman, we got torched. Seems like they could run and we got no pressure.

I think we should keep 3 linemen in as much as possible, maybe substituting a Dback for a linebacker.

Defensive gurus, tell me I'm crazy, but it seems those formations are just giving offenses a break from our devastating line.
