Didn't someone else do that earlier in the year? Maybe the Steelers? I seem to remember when it happened, some folks expressed concern that other teams would pick up on it, as a way to avoid his blocks.

I did. I pointed out that after a certain amount of time, other teams are going to figure out that because of his size, he's going to throw a cut block every time so they're going to learn to jump over him, and one of these days Brady is going to get whacked that way.

That is funny. Al Danny had to do is lift his head and they would be calling Jarius, Juanita.

I bet BB and Danny's teammates had a great time with that when watching the game tape.

I saw it live at the game. We kinda giggled, more so cuz Brady still made a 19 yd gain on the play. Gimmicky crap that amounted to nothing except a first down the other way.

Perhaps, if the Bills would stop playing "cute" and start playing fundamentally sound football, they might be able to field a competitive team someday.

I was there and saw it too. I don't think Byrd saved any time with that move vs. trying to run through or around Woodhead.

I think this is true. Woodhead may not have made the block, but he sure as heck slowed down the rusher, giving brady the extra 1/2 second needed to get the ball out to an open guy. Thats all Woodheads job is there, to slow the guy down a bit, and he accomplished his goal.

That was comical. What's gonna be more comical though, especially for Woodhead, is that in two years time he'll probably be making 5 times as much as Jarius.

Though i'm sure Woodhead is closer to 5'6" than 5'8". Faulk is a legitimate 5'8" and one of the best around at picking up the blitz, after being horrible at first. Time to hit the film study, it can be done.

Looks like an easy way to get by woodhead, and if danny pushes up on a leg, could also end up being an easy way to land on IR for the year. Faces generally dont break falls well. My neck agrees with me.
