Had I known about this auction, I certainly would have contributed to that fund. Missed opportunity and a damned shame...

Two comments:
One, NFL Auction Proceeds all go to Charity, so good-on Sanchez for having the sense of humor to put this up for auction (or on the Jets if they did it).
Two, bad- bad- bad-on the NFL for failing to publicize the sale in a better way. This could and should have sold for several thousand dollars, so it was a missed opportunity. If enough Pats fans had gotten into the bidding, I could easily see this sell for north of ten grand.
