Denied benefits, delayed payments, and the bureaucratic roadblocks of the NFL’s concussion settlement - The Boston Globe

The National Football League remains nothing if not consistent in its policy of always doing the wrong thing, and never doing right by those who sacrifice to create the profits the league benefits from, including the players and fans. Here in Boston, we have no illusions about exactly what Goodell is and represents, but he was mentored by Tagliabue who in turn carried on the legacy of Rozelle, who kissed the evil NFL owners' asses in mediating the merger, along with tacitly endorsing anti-Patriots sentiment and propaganda since 1970.

The league spared no expense in attempting to defame Tom Brady; while it continues to make every effort to prevent money from going where it's desperately needed, where it would do some good, and where it's legally supposed to go.

These former Patriots players are people who Pats fans love, and this story is extremely painful to know.

The league appears to be impervious to negative publicity, so we must find some other avenue of power to bring them down, or at least do something to help our suffering heroes.
