Hmmm . . . I notice a common theme among the players listed.

[That said, there's one player near the bottom of the list who probably shouldn't be there, as he was playing in the wrong scheme in 2009 and injured in 2010. . . .]

I'm curious about what you've written here. Other than Barwin, who certainly had his supporters on this site, which player(s) on that list do you think were thought of as great picks and can't miss guys?

It was more of a 'not picking pass rushers' comment! More general than this draft!

Unfortunately, though, that's the same draft that produced Clay Matthews, and BB did pass up on taking him.

The clear difference being that Brady had just won an MVP, while Barwin was a second-year player who hasn't proven anything yet. He hasn't proven anything, so yeah, injury or not he has to step up, because if you go three years without making an impact in the NFL the odds become stacked pretty heavily against you making an impact in the NFL.
