One last time.
The stroke was caused when a blood clot passed through a hole in his heart. Many people are born with that condition and nver know it.
They inserted a plug in his heart. That eliminates the risk factor of a stroke caused by the same issue.

Bruschi has been told by a team of doctors, the chance of playing football causing the plug to dislodge is flat out, absolutely, with 100% certainty ZERO.

The chance of Tedy Bruschi suffering another stroke is actual LESS THAN average, because he has eliminated one of the common causes of stroke.

From everything I have read, no one identified a cause of the heart attack.....football related or otherwise.

Tedy did not have a heart attack and had lived with those holes in his heart his whole life.

you dont think a stroke is life threatning??? well is is. at any age. I can tell you this. these doctors and specialists and ever kind of "ologist" give him a "risk factor". meaning theres no guarentee. carson palmer's injury started me to thinking bout this.
I know this is a bad time, on game day, to bring it up. but there's no guarentee from ANY doctor.

Of course, there is NO GURANTEE from ANY doctor.

In fact, there is NO GUARANTEE about ANYTHING in life.

You can walk out of your home right now and get run over by a truck.

You are faced with RISKS everyday in life.

It is all about taking PRUDENT RISK.

It is also about CONTROLLING risks.

I am sure Bruschi is under constant MONITORING by cardiologists.

At any sign of problem, Tedy will take appropriate actions.

What is your point? Yes a stroke is life threatening.
No Tedy Bruschi playing football is not life threatening.

There is no guarantee you wont have an annuerism explode in your head as you are typing a response. That doesnt mean you should turn your computer off and hide under the covers.

Well....in some cases I think it could mean just that!

Smack trolls are at an exponentially greater risk of exploding brain annuerisms than higher functioning message board species due to the fairly obvious underlying brain damage they've already experienced as evidenced in their thoroughly lame and generally repetitive posts....

That's why I really wish IAN would put those most at risk (like Buster) in the padded room where they could still play, but be safer in a controlled setting.

Because he was born with the soul of a warrior. It's who he is, it's what he does.

There's risk with everything in life. This plane of existence is just a terribly risky place to be. But we're all here to learn and do. That's what Tedy does.

If you're all that concerned about the risks and dangers of life on Planet Earth, maybe you should be more concerned with your own well-being, rather than worrying about somebody else.
